somebody asked me what my favourite bands were in the past year or what new and interesting or only loveable seemed to me. since I didn't have money for records, nor money for the interent, I could only think of gigs, where I happened to get in... or, yeah, parties I did myself! so I kind of compiled that list in a few seconds...


best live gig... lightning bolt at festsaal in november, best live discovery.. mahjongg at bang bang club in november or so, most charming live band... deerhoof at lido in december, best local gig.. don vito at trickster for poplars and rocks birthday party!, best local newcomer... chuckamuck (i missed them often) at zmf (farewell!) in november, best band with eight people or so... action beat at lokal in november or so, best night.. gofaster>> at white trash in january... best german live discovery... patterns at lokal in november or october...


the rest of the year was shit, maybe  I could name a few  more gigs, that were quite good, but I won't. but I have some more new bands in mind, that people have to know! and some we present to you, and hopefully some more...
