Live:
They sing about lost love, the big city, and leaving home, classic emotions with a timeless style, or is it the other way around? Let's dance. The Michelles are: Tim – rhythm guitar – Rock & Roll through and thru with a touch of southern hospitality from Virginia USA. He likes to scream when he can. The only rich person thing he can do is play tennis. Dances into way too many awkward situations … can moonwalk & cha-cha-cha like a pro. Graeme – drums – a boy from another small town, this time in Wales UK, who moved to London. The quiet one. Tells really bad jokes. Jules – bass – a young gun & a rebel with too many causes; raised by wild city wolves on the mean streets of East Berlin DE. Couldn't finally join the band until he got out of jail in 2007. He burns the barn down when he plays bass.
If you enjoy listening to motorcycle pop featuring saccharine vocals, droning guitars, warm organ sounds and tambourines, Havana Guns from London are the right band for you. Pretty, vacant and willing. First ever german gig!
With his heart-breaking songs, Paul McDowell from Liverpool, who performed at last week's ZMF show, will once more open up this exquisite night for us.
Euan Davidson will be at the decks with his chosen collection of the world's finest records.
