12.12.:Le dernier Salon:. Sorry Gilberto, Mary and the Baby Cheeses, Barby (from the Utopians)

Enden sind das Schönste. Das letzte Konzert im ZMF in diesem Jahr. Vielleicht das letzte sowieso erst einmal?! Man weeß ja nie, wa. Darum spielen noch einmal möglichst viele Leute in dem denkbar kleinsten Rahmen: Barby, Mary and the Baby Cheeses und Sorry Gilberto.

Sorry Gilberto (Berlin). Sorry Gilberto like melodies you can humm along by yourself, inbetween places, on an afternoon. its all about the weather, big citys and small towns and especially about the people, running around, trying to get a grip on something (or maybe on each other). these songs are shortmovies. somebody has lost the storyboard in the rain, so you can concentrate on faces, sudden movements and the strange guy in the back. if you are into instruments, give a hand to the lazy guitars, the squeeky organs, the swinging basslines, the stoic beats of the rodeo and the little casio. there are voices too. singing about things you already know. but hey: dont you wanna hear about them over and over again?!

Mary and the Baby Cheeses (Tel Aviv). Experimental Folk with industrial influences and a grain of Post Punk, Produced by traditional and improvisational instruments. Playing a 2000W heater with a violin bow and a wooden-boxed Theremin, among other instruments and eccentric vocals, The group creates a rather stimulating experience both musically and visually. Despite of the unusual use of instruments, the sound of the band is not abstract. The songs' structures are quite plain, between intimate songwriting and a notorious musical experiment.
